‘नेपाल: तथ्यजाँच’ निष्पक्षता र गैरराजनीतिक रहनका लागि प्रतिबद्ध छ।
हामी कुनै राजनीतिक दल वा तिनका सिद्धान्त वा कुनै विशेष प्रकारको विचार वा मान्यताको समर्थन वा विरोध गर्दैनौँ।
हामी नेपाली सञ्चारमाध्यममा आएका र सोसल मिडियामा भाइरल भएका सामग्रीहरूको तथ्यजाँच गर्छौँ।
हाम्रो यो प्रयास कसैमाथि दोष थोपर्ने नभई सञ्चारमाध्यम, सोसल मिडिया प्रयोगकर्ता र आम नागरिकलाई मिथ्या सूचना वा भ्रामक सूचना वा अपुष्ट सूचनाबारे सचेत बनाउने हो।
यसको निरन्तरताका लागि हामी सबैको सहयोगको अपेक्षा गर्दछौँ।
सम्पादकीय स्वतन्त्रता र निष्पक्षतासम्बन्धी नीति
नेपाल: तथ्यजाँचले गर्ने कामको आधार मानव अधिकार, उदार लोकतन्त्र र उत्तरदायी मिडिया हो। यी कुराबाहेक हाम्रो अन्य आग्रह/पूर्वाग्रहले तथ्यजाँचको कामलाई प्रभावित नगर्न हामी प्रतिबद्ध छौँ।
नेपाल: तथ्यजाँचमा संलग्न सम्पादक, तथ्यजाँचकी, निगरानीकर्ता, अध्ययनकर्ता र अन्य सबैले आफ्नो आग्रह/पूर्वाग्रहले यसको कार्यलाई प्रभावित नगरी निष्पक्ष राख्न प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गरेका हुन्छन्। नेपाल: तथ्यजाँचका कार्यरत व्यक्तिहरूले निष्पक्षतामा प्रश्न उठ्ने गतिविधि वा अभिव्यक्ति नदिन पनि प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गरेका हुन्छन्।
उनीहरू अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय तथ्यजाँच सञ्जाल International Fact-Checking Network को आचारसंहितालाई पालना गर्न प्रतिबद्ध हुन्छन्।
नेपाल: तथ्यजाँचले कुनै राजनीतिक समूह वा एक पक्षीय विचार समूहलाई प्रत्यक्ष वा अप्रत्यक्ष कुनै पनि लाभ दिँदैन। कुनै निश्चित राजनीतिक वा माथि उल्लेखबाहेक अन्य विचारधारा वा विवादित विषयहरूमा नेपाल: तथ्यजाँचले पक्ष लिँदैन।
नेपाल: तथ्यजाँचले सम्पादकीय स्वतन्त्रताको प्रत्याभूति दिन्छ।
सीएमआर-नेपालले यसका खर्चहरू बेहोरेर तथ्यजाँचकीका लागि कार्यस्थलको व्यवस्था गरे पनि सम्पादक समूह स्वतन्त्र हुन्छन्।
सम्पादकको स्वतन्त्रता निश्चित गर्न उसको कार्यलाई स्वतन्त्र व्यक्तिहरूको पाँच सदस्यीय सल्लाहकार समितिले मात्रै मूल्याङ्कन गर्ने र सम्पादकको नियुक्ति वा उसलाई गरिने कारबाही सोही समितिको बहुमतको सिफारिसमा सीएमआर-नेपालको कार्यसमितिको निर्णयले मात्रै हुनसक्ने व्यवस्था गरिएको छ।

We do not agree or disagree with any political principle or political group or their opinions.
We fact-check viral information on Nepal’s mainstream and social media.
We do not intend to blame anyone but rather want to create awareness around disinformation, misinformation, and fake news among media, social media users, and the general public.

Editorial Independence and Impartiality Policy
NepalFactCheck.org’s works are based on human rights, liberal democracy, and responsible media. We are committed to remaining independent and free from any other biases.
The editor, fact-checkers, disinformation monitors, researchers and other affiliated to NepalFactCheck.org have expressed committment not to impact fact-checking works and products by any biases. They have also expressed committment not to involve themselves in activities or make statement that undermines the impartiality of the fact-checking works.
They all have also committed to adhere by the Code of Principles of the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN).
NepalFactCheck.org doesn’t give support – directly or indirectly to any political group or one-sided group. We do not take side based on the political ideology or controversial or debated issues.
NepalFactCheck.org is editorially independent.
Although CMR-Nepal funds its operations under projects and provides workstations for fact-checkers, the editorial team is independent of CMR-Nepal or mysansar.com.
To ensure editorial independence as well as make the editorial team accountable, its works are supervised by a five-member advisory committee (in which at least three members are independent of CMR-Nepal and/or mysansar.com). The committee receives reports from the editor, analyzes complaints from the public, and is responsible for the assessment of its work as well as the performance of the editor.
CMR-Nepal’s executive committee can only appoint or take action on the editor on the recommendation of the advisory committee.
